This FAQ is intended to provide our valued sponsors and prospects, with crucial information of the exhibition at a glance and clarifies a number of queries that have arisen over a period of time.
- What are the dates and timings & where is the venue?
The Exhibition is scheduled to be organized from 30th April – 4th May, 2012 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre (OIEC), strategically located in front of the Muscat International Airport & next to the Golden Tulip Hotel which also has a conference facility & a lively night club.
The exhibition hall will remain open from 10:00 am – 09:00 pm for Business, 10:00 am – 10:00 pm for Shopper & 10:00 am – 10:00 pm for eGovernment from 30th – 3rd May 2012 (Mon – Thu). Also 04:30 pm – 09:00 pm for Business, 04:30 pm – 10:00 pm for Shopper & 04:30 pm – 10:00 pm for eGovernment on 4th May 2012 (Friday).
OIEC is equipped with a state of the art high bandwidth WiFi internet connection, a cafeteria that serves food, hot or cold drinks during the entire exhibition at a very reasonable price. Bringing outside food or edibles in the stalls are not allowed.

There are standard amenities included in the shell scheme such as wall panels (enclosure), 2 spot lights of 100 watts each, 1 double socket 240 volts, 13 amps, single phase electrical socket, 1 table, 2 chairs, carpet tiles and fascia lettering in English / Arabic not exceeding 30 letters whereas the bare space is just a marked exhibition area. - Where can I view the exhibition layout plan?

We will be more than happy to assist you with any requirements of furniture or AV support; including the price quote and pictures for your reference.

A conference / seminar program shall be made available online shortly. Participants and sponsors will be kept informed of social networking gatherings in the evening. - What is the official & unofficial attire?
We recommend formal attire since it’s a business event & casual wear in the evening session, keeping in mind the modest Islamic values of the country. - What information should I know before I attend?
For exhibitors, we provide professional assistance in enhancing your exhibition experience & maximizing your turnover, please find below informative materials to cater all of your exhibition requirements. Also have a thorough look at the exhibition brochure to define your objectives to be attained during the course of exhibition. Under no circumstances will children under 14 be admitted in the exhibition. - Will there be an exhibitor catalogue, listing all participants & their detailed profile?
Exhibitor catalogues will be handed out to all participants & visitors with a full listing of participating companies with their comprehensive details. If you were not able to visit the show but would like to get a copy, please send an email with your request after the show. We will be happy to send you an exhibitor catalogue if there are any copies available. - Is a visa required for entry into the Sultanate of Oman?
Few nationalities can get an on arrival visa whereas others should have a visa prior to their arrival. OITE can only arrange for 2 visa’s per 9sqm exhibitors. In all cases the Directorate General of Passports & Residence have the right to reject any application. - Where do I book my flight & hotel stay?
